This adaptor is an optional accessory for the remotely controllable models of the
series PSI 6000.
The included software enables the user to remotely control the linked unit (one per application started) from the PC.
Following adaptors are available:
E131 = RS232
E132 = USB
E134 = GPIB (IEEE)
E151 = 19" kit
The USB adaptor requires a driver, which is also included on the CD.
Note: the serial port of the PSI 6000 models is NOT compatible with the serial ports of a PC!
Following control and monitoring functions can be realized by the software:
- Measure current and voltage
- Set current and voltage
- Graphical display of the history of current and voltage (print and save plots)
- Programmable voltage steps (start value, end value, step size, step time)
- Program voltage-current-time tables
- Status display of current/voltage control mode, overtemperature
