Series PS 7000 A

These units may be used as constant voltage source with current limitation or as a constant current source with voltage limitation. Both, current and voltage can be adjusted course and fine by means of potentiometers on the front panel. High reliability, even under extreme conditions, is achieved by thyristor pre-regulation, power MOS-FET end stages, temperature dependent fan regulation and a housing construction with integrated cooling. The output is protected against continuous short-circuit. Two or more units can be operated in parallel or in series. On series operation the max. output voltage against ground is 300V. The series PS7000A has a remote sensing function which will compensate an output voltage loss of up to 1V per line. The units are externally programmable via 0...10V for output voltage and current. The internal/external mode selector switch is located on the front panel.
