The Pyramid Plus series represents an extension of the Pyramid DSP series, which profits from even higher performance and additional options, like for example the 12 pulse rectifier. It consists of high performance emergency backup systems of up to 300kVA and with three-phase input and output. The devices are intended for the use in industrial automation and control systems, wide computer networks with many PCs or for telecommunication equipment. Highest fail-safe for the connected consumers is ensured by the permanently working double online converter. Simultaneously, the output voltage is stabilised, filtered and improved to an almost perfect sine wave shape. This serves for achieving of an extended lifetime of sensitive and valuable loads. The desired backup time is configured by choosing the appropriate, external battery cabinet with variable battery sets and thus allows optimal customisation of the required emergency backup system. A LCD panel and a standard communication interface allow simple use and remote control. An extensive set of optional components and features allows the Pyramid Plus series to be implemented into nearly every environment where it is required to run an UPS system.
