Power Supplies 320W - 5000W
PS 800 R
The equipment uses an active Power Factor Correction, enabling worldwide use on a mains input from 90V up to 264V AC (models with up to 1500W) or requires a two-phase input of 340V up to 460V AC.
Different units with voltage output ranges from 16V to 360V, current output ranges from 4A to 170A and power output ranges from 320W to 5000W, are available. The output voltage is adjustable from 0V up to max. voltage. At the units up to 65V, fixed output values can be selected.
To protect equipment connected against excess of voltage, the devices features a floating overvoltage protection (OVP) which follows the adjusted output voltage by an offsetset. In an event of overvoltage, the output will disconnect automatically and an alarm will be generated on both, an error LED and the analogue interface.
Analogue inputs with voltage ranges from 0V...10V for set up voltage and current from 0...100% are available. For monitoring the output voltage and current, analogue outputs are realised with voltage ranges from 0V...10V. There are also control inputs and a status output available to control and monitor the device condition.
Models with 5000W nominal power feature a "Share Bus", which is led out on the front. This connection is used to gain a symmetric load current distribution during parallel operation of several units of the same type. It also affects the output voltage control, so that one unit of the parallel connection can be determined as master, controlling the others.
Since June 2011 also models with 1000W or 1500W feature this Share bus.
