The EA-PS 1000 Series is a range of adjustable heavy-duty switched mode power supplies available with up to 500VDC, 8500A and a max. output power of 220kW. This series is used in galvanic applications (e.g. surface treatment, electro plating) and industrial applications (e.g. starter motor test benches, automatic test systems for contactors, relays, switches).
The power rating classes 6, 15, 20 and 60kW are equipped with 10-turn potentiometers for voltage and current adjust , digital volt and ammeter and an analoge interface for external control. For the 40kW power rating class, manual adjust and meters are available as an option via an external manual control device. All units are protected against overload and short-circuit and can be equipped with remote sensing and RS485 interface as an option.

If small or large currents, this series of current sources offers exactly controllable and constant output currents from 50mA up to 20.000A. The units are designed for heavy duty service and for highest reliability. They can be used universally for test purposes and are suitable for cabinet mounting.
This series was specially designed for the broad field of electroplating applications. Following the printed circuit board industry the advantages of pulse plating are becoming widespread in electroplating in general. This has been picked up on this development and is taking it even further. The result is the new generation of pulse and pulse reverse power supplies, the POWER PULSE series.
